New Year Eve 2007

What a Blast! I am usually a bit of a homebody for New Yeas, after all it really is another day of the year. Though last year was the year of years, it was so good, so bad, so right, so wrong all at once, am still not sure what to make of it.
So I thought to go out, have an amazing time, with amazing people and celebrate the year that was and the year that this one is now becoming. January so far has proved a bit mixed, what with atrocious weather, a fabulous weekend in Belfast, an empty bank account, endless illnesses, but despite those things, I can feel the good year that 2008 is going to be coming along, seeping out of the woodwork, in my waters, so bring it on.

In the meanwhile, back to 31 Dec 2007... just for a bit. The venue was Sandersons Hotel, extremely swanky in the heart of London, just off Oxford Street, the theme was Burlesque, it was glitzy, glamorous, the champagne was flowing (more like we were drowning in it) and it was such a fun stress free night - I went out with a bang! Here are some piccies to prove it.
